Ben Hogan Golf
The secretis inthe dirt.
Hogan never sold a shortcut and neither does the company that carries his name. No hype cycle, no tour-van mythology. Clubs from Fort Worth, sold direct, meant to be practiced with.
The record
Nine majors, no accidents.
Four lines from a life, 1912 to 1997, printed the way a caddie master would keep them.
1912
Texas
William Ben Hogan is born. Texas will hold him for the rest of his life, 1912 to 1997.
1950
Merion
Sixteen months after a near fatal car crash, Hogan wins the U.S. Open at Merion. The most famous comeback in the sport.
NINE
Major championships
Nine majors under his name. He gave the credit to practice, not to talent.
TODAY
Fort Worth, direct
The storied name carries on from Fort Worth, Texas. The modern company sells its clubs direct, player to player, no middleman.

The practice tee
He dug it out of the ground.
You can too.
Hogan gave the game one instruction that outlived him: the answer is not for sale, it is under your feet. These clubs are built for the player who takes that personally.
01
Earn it daily
Nothing you did yesterday counts this morning. The range resets at dawn and so do you.
02
No shortcuts
There is no training aid for honesty. Hit the ball, read the divot, hit the next one better.
03
Repeat until true
A swing you cannot repeat is a rumor. Repetition is the only signature that holds up.
Custom order, walked through
The Build Sheet
Every Ben Hogan iron is built to order and sold direct. Three steps, same as the counter at the factory would ask them.
1.
State your handicap
Pick a band and the journal names your line, from the Icon blade to the Edge EX game improver.
2.
Set your specs, free of charge
- Loft
- Up to 2 degrees stronger or weaker, no charge
- Lie
- Plus or minus 2 degrees, no charge
- Length
- Plus or minus 2 inches, no charge
- Grips
- Lamkin Ben Hogan Z5, standard or midsize, no upcharge
- Set makeup
- 4-PW or 5-PW, steel or graphite per line
- Build time
- Hand built in the USA, 5 to 10 working days
Fine print, printed large: custom-built clubs are non-returnable. Measure twice before the forge fires.
3.
Order direct, or bring in a witness
Know your numbers? Order straight from the configurator. If you do not, Ben Hogan keeps a network of authorized club fitters for the in-person fitting and building experience they cannot do online; send those specs to Ben Hogan and they build to them.

Fitting studio
Bring your numbers.
A fitting is practice with a witness. Bring your carry distances, your gapping, the miss you have been fighting all season. Leave with iron specs you earned on the range, not specs you guessed at in a shop.
Start an iron fitting- Bring
- Carry numbers, gapping, typical miss
- Expect
- Lie, length, and flex worked from your data
- Leave with
- A spec sheet you can practice against
